1961
Inauguration of the Virgen del Camino sanctuary in León, where Subirachs has created thirteen large bronze figures for the façade, four bronze doors and several cult objects for the inside of the building.
In October he starts teaching classes at the Elisava School in Barcelona.

1962
Set design for the theatrical work 'Primera Història d'Esther', by Salvador Espriu, directed by Ricard Salvat in the Teatre Romea in Barcelona.
Sculpture Vertical Lost Wax in the gardens of the Market Center Award in Dallas.Saint Michael's Cross in Montserrat.

1963
Monument to Narcís Monturiol in Barcelona.
He moves into the workshop-house, a project of the architect Antoni de Moragas i Gallissà, located on the carretera de l'Arrabassada in Barcelona.
Monument to the victims of the El Vallès floods in Rubí.

1964
Exhibits the sculpture Polyphemus in the Sala Gaspar in Barcelona.

1965
Monument to Pompeu Fabra in Planoles.
Monument to the victims of the plane crash in Carmona (Seville).
His son Daniel is born in Barcelona on October 17th.

1966
He wins the 1st Ynglada-Guillot International Drawing Prize.
Places his work Christ at the Column in the Middelheim Museum in Antwerp (Belgium).
Makes a medal to commemorate the creation of the Democratic Students' Union of the University of Barcelona, the sales of which raise funds to pay the fines charged to those involved in the "caputxinada".

1967

Monument to International Trade in Dallas (USA).
Monument to Mexico City to commemorate the 19th Olympic Games.
Set design for the theatrical work 'Primera Història d'Esther', by Salvador Espriu, second version directed by Ricard Salvat, in the Teatro Banderas in Bilbao.
Special showroom at the 34th Venice Biennial Exhibition.

1969
Monument Tribute to Barcelona in Barcelona's Montjuïc Park.
Frieze and large mural for the façade of the new Barcelona City Hall building.
Mural for the Diagonal station of the Metropolitan Railway of Barcelona.

1970
Monument to Saint Dominic Guzmán in Montserrat.
Installation for the lions and the tigers in the Madrid zoo.
