1941
Starts work in March in the workshop of the guilder Folgueroles, located in Barcelona's Pla de Palau square.

1942
Begins an apprenticeship in the workshop of the sculptor Enric Monjo.

1943
Takes part in a collective exhibition in the Casino l'Aliança in Poblenou (Barcelona).

1945
Attends night classes in drawing, as a free student, in the Barcelona College of Fine Arts.

1947
Leaves the workshop of Enric Monjo and works for a few months in the workshop of the 'Noucentista' sculptor Enric Casanovas.

1948
Enric Casanovas dies on January 2nd.
Organizes, together with an artist group from Poblenou (Barcelona), a posthumous tribute to Casanovas and gives a conference on the late master's work.
First individual exhibition in which he presents 10 sculptures and 6 drawings, in the Casa del Libro in Barcelona.

1949
His involvement in the II Salón de Octubre brings him great public acclaim. He takes part continuously in this annual showroom up to 1957.

1950
Together with the sculptors Francesc Torres Monsó and Martí Sabé, and the painters Esther Boix, Ricard Creus and Joaquim Datsira, he founds the Postectura group, which makes its presentation with a manifesto and an exhibition in the Galeries Laitanes in Barcelona.
