Barcelona. L'Eixample

L'EIXAMPLE
This route passes through five Barcelona neighbourhoods: La Nova Esquerra de l'Eixample, L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample, La Dreta de l'Eixample, El Fort Pienc and La Sagrada Família. Due to the length of this route and the great number of works, it is possible to split it up into two stages: the area to the left of Passeig de Gràcia and the area to the right. The first contains a major presence of sculpted murals, but the spectator can also see religious works and commemorative plaques. The second stage features the Monument to Narcís Monturiol, the inventor of the Ictíneo submarine, located at Avinguda Diagonal, 341 (between Girona and Bailén streets).
